About Mutabiq

Mutabiq tells you what the published rules say about your invoice XML before you send it anywhere.

Who builds it

The rules, the explanations and the mapping guidance are reviewed by a chartered accountant, and every rule that mirrors a published check names that check.

Why it exists

The failure it removes is a loop: a system exports a document, the platform rejects it, and the message that comes back names a clause nobody can map onto a field in their own software. Mutabiq shortens that loop to one upload, and because it is deterministic it gives the same answer for the same bytes every time.

What it will never do

  • It does not issue, generate or send an invoice.
  • It does not submit anything for clearance or reporting, and it does not connect to the Fatoora platform.
  • It never asks for, holds or uses a production CSID, certificate or private key.
  • It does not represent certification or approval by the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA). What it does is pre-validation against published ZATCA requirements.
  • No language model decides a verdict. Every finding comes from deterministic code, which is why the same file gives the same report every time.

The binding statements are on the legal pages, and they are what this page summarises.
