Mutabiq checks the XML your system already produces. Nothing to install, and nothing changes in how you invoice.
Pre-validation against published ZATCA requirements
Five checks a month on the Free plan. The file is checked in memory and is never stored.
Four documents from the test corpus, checked by the same rules your own upload goes through. No upload and no sign-in.
Pick one of the four above and Mutabiq checks it here.
2.2.0These four figures are read from the build that produced this page, never typed. A fixture is a document the ZATCA SDK judged, and the report Mutabiq gives for it is compared against that judgement on every run.
The QR code: tags 1 to 5 (seller name, VAT number, timestamp, total, VAT amount) are checked against the invoice; tags 6 to 9 (hash, signature, public key, stamp) are reported, not verified.
Every VAT-registered business resident in Saudi Arabia has had to issue e-invoices since 4 December 2021; integration with the Fatoora platform follows only once ZATCA names your wave, with at least six months' notice. Mutabiq is for anyone whose system produces the invoice XML (or a PDF/A-3 carrying it) before it goes to ZATCA, and for the accountants and integrators who check it. If the only copy you have is a printed or PDF simplified invoice, there is no XML in it to check.
Who must e-invoice, non-residents, printed copies: the full answer
Not legal advice: check your own obligations with ZATCA or your adviser.
Upload one ZATCA Phase 2 UBL 2.1 invoice and read a bilingual diagnostic report. The file is checked in memory and is never stored.
One .xml file, or a .zip holding up to 100 of them on a paid plan, or one ZIP of up to 5 files a month on Free. It is checked in memory and is never stored.
Every finding names the rule, where it sits in the document, and what to change in your e-invoicing mapping — in English and Arabic.
Correct it in the mapping or the export template rather than in the exported file, then check the invoice again.
Checking an invoice a supplier sent you? Upload its XML or PDF/A-3 the same way.
Mutabiq is an independent pre-validation tool. It does not issue or submit invoices, file tax returns, connect to the Fatoora platform, or represent ZATCA certification or approval.
